about the liquid petroleum gas pricing in india Sir, The issue about the pricing of gas in the market is serious. The rate has to be fixed taking into the future requirements of energy by india. The rate should be such as to discourage the endless use of the precious resource prudently by the lay users, like the common people. Now a days the usage of cng and lpg has increased exponentially among the common people. The auto rickshaws and public vehicles are being operated in cng in delhi and in all the major metros where there is infrastructure for fitting the new kits for the vehicles, the owner have opted for the lpg or cng due to the low cost of operation vis a vis petorl or even diesel. Just because the lpg is available in abundance or the perceived value of it seems to be low shouldnot be a reason for keeping the price of it low.
