The list of fabulous names like Mehdinipatnam and Gaganpahad had intrigued me for the past one and half years and I took the DEMU train from Medchal to Budvel yesterday to visit Gaganpahad. After i reached nh44 from Budvel railway station, took a share auto to reach Gaganpahad bus stop for ten rupees. Had sugarcane juice for twenty rupees at 1515 and veg noodles at New Tamilnadu hotel(expediency vs scrupules- I guess the veg noodles, that i ordered was made in a tava ,used to make only vegetarian dishes.i donot know whether even non-veg dishes also are made in the same tava , nor did i ask the twenty give seater hotel staff about it)Gaganpahad below the road bridge for INR.50.mostly frequented by truckers from nearby depots.run by Tamils who also speak telugu
