Visited Chennai by train reached on 05-Aug-2023 morning.visited Ahobilam math in Triplicane and nearby Parthasarsthy temple(one of 108 divya desams)after taking a bath. Learnt that Azhagiya singhar jeer is camping in Ahobilam kshetram now, when I asked the purohit in Ahobilam math of Triplicane, whether booking facility is available for rooms in Ahobilam math of Ahobilam kshetra.
Purchased thattai-big ones costing fifty each in the Prasad section of the inner prakaras. Did a bid (INR.450/-)for a nool veshti cum uttariyam in the weekly Saturday auction conducted within the outer prakaras of the Triplicane parthasarsthy temple near the dwajasthambam.the starting price was INR.400/-.I was the successful bidder for INR.450/-.Learnt from parents that one needs to cut the uttariyam part from the dhoti with a scissor. Which means weaving and dyeing are done on a single lengthy piece of cloth.
On the way back reached a house near lalshmi nagar third street to have lunch.
In the afternoon broke some tender coconuts to beat the heat and started in TVS moped to attend the annual general body meeting of IIMM CHENNAI at Regenta Deccan near Radhakrishnan salai.
Had a haircut on Sunday reached Secunderabad on Monday by train
