gas pricing in india(lpg)

about the liquid petroleum gas pricing in india

Sir, The issue about the pricing of gas in the market is serious. The rate has to be fixed taking into the future requirements of energy by india. The rate should be such as to discourage the endless use of the precious resource prudently by the lay users, like the common people. Now a days the usage of cng and lpg has increased exponentially among the common people. The auto rickshaws and public vehicles are being operated in cng in delhi and in all the major metros where there is infrastructure for fitting the new kits for the vehicles, the owner have opted for the lpg or cng due to the low cost of operation vis a vis petorl or even diesel. Just because the lpg is available in abundance or the perceived value of it seems to be low shouldnot be a reason for keeping the price of it low. It should be pegged at a slightly higher rate, than it is now. How ever the government should try to get the cheapest rate from the private companies. There should be some kind of lock in period for the amount that is paid by the private companies in the form of government bonds before it can be used by the company for its own purposes.(this is my humble suggestion)

Hi, this is andrew!!
I totally agree your views. I would also suggest that increase the price of LPG or whatever souces related to Energy is great idea.

But my view is diiferent. would like to explain with example.
1900's our worls population was 200 crores so that inventions and discoveries were not happened. but now lot of inventions because people desparately need it to be safe.

The same thing would be happened when we are not having adequate enery that means people will find out a new sources of enery as and when they need it. I strongly believe that "Without enery nohing will exist in this world'

Be optimist to see the best alternative

good bye!!!
that was a good comment and there is truth in it. necessity is the mother of invention. that is what i gather from your comment.
