On 03-Sep-2022, i visited the BSNL customer service center at Kompally and at Paradise METRO and learnt that the customer data isn't centralized all over India for BSNL. Because of this, i couldn't get a SIM card replacement at Telangana,and i was forced to travel to Chennai to get a replacement sim card. Even if the database isn't centralized,the customer data can be validated using either fingerprints or face snap to issue a SIM card, why it's not done?.
