The road between Solapur to Phandarpur could be put to good use in being considered as a test track for testing new models of vehicles for their shock absorbing capacity of axles and hydraulic system. There are numerous flyovers under construction along this route, due to which numerous diversion through uneven roads are a reality. A journey which usually takes one and half hour now takes two hours.
